Care Providers are often in the dark about when their patients visit an Emergency Department, and the treatment patients receive there. The Emergency Department Information Exchange (EDIE) serves as a communication tool between Primary Care Physicians and other Care Providers, and the Hospitals their patients visit.
Collective Medical Technologies sets-up an interface with Hospitals and Care Providers so EDIE can serve as a communication and collaboration platform between them, providing both with broader patient information and better patient information.
Care Providers can track diagnoses and medication information from their practice and from the EDs their patients visit in real-time, and can use that information to help develop a collaborative and consistent care plan for patients. These care plans are communicated to both Care Providers and EDs upon patient registration, ensuring that Physicians at both have the crucial information needed to help them make better treatment decisions.
